Just 10 days not to go to the Cardiff City Stadium Craft and Hobby Show 2012 we are pleased to announce that Emy Buxton will be joining us on the stand to demonstrate Fimo.

The Fimo demonstrations will be 10am to 4pm daily.

Hi Everybody

The sun is shining today in Barry as we all get back to normal today after the Easter holidays. Long may it continue and with summer just around the corner let’s just hope we have a fruitful tourist season this year.

Here at Boxes & Busts we are still full to the brim with jewellery making components as we stocked up so much for the Fiesta.

Look out also over the next weeks for a return of a popular box range and lots of additions to the acrylic range.

After two successfull days of the Jewelery Making Fiesta we are now in our last day. Come on over to grab a bargain or learn a new craft.

Just two days to go now before the Fiesta.

It seems as if it was just the other day we were planning this event and now its on top of us. Where has the time gone.

We are still putting out stock and preparing kits and geting it all ready for you.

New signage due tomorrow and I think it could be a long day today as tonight is set up.

We are all looking forward to a busy 3 days and hope to see as many of you as can get here.

Dont forget you have three days. Saturday 31st, Sunday 1st April and Monday 2nd April to join us.

Demonstrations will be from 10am to 4pm each day.

If you like freshwater pearls then Saturday is the day to come as Kristian from Di.Perle willbe here with his pearls.

Hi All

Its snowing but doesn't look as if it will stick here in Barry.

Just in case we all get snowed in for a while now is the time to stock up on all your beady supplies so we all have something to do.

The creche is going on as normal this afternoon - this little flurry of the white stuff is no match for all of us hardy Welsh peeps is it?

The Crafters Creche is back - Saturday 7th January 2012 sees the return of this popular Saturday afternoon at The Bead Room.

This weekend we have Sarah Warden-Smith joining us to enable any of you that would like to know more about either the wire work or Metal Clay workshops to have your questions answered by the expert. Your tutor for the course.

Tea and coffee galore, some chat and lots of inspiration abound so join us from 1pm - 4pm for some fun.

Sorry I havn't blogged in a few days but it has been all hands on deck for the grand opening of "The Bead Room" this coming Sunday.

Lots of new stock in ready and it should be a superb 2 days.

If any of you live close enough we would love to see you.

Not forgetting that I will be demonstrating a simple chain maille weave.

Its a rainy day here in South Wales. That horrible drizzle that seems to have no direction and gets everywhere.

I do hope its a nice sunny day where you are.

Luckily I'm sat at the computer putting together a taster day.

If you think you would like to see a little about either chain maille or wire wrapping then watch this space for more news in the next few days. Also watch for an email to land as details will be winging their weay to all our customers that way too.

Sunshine and Miracles - the ideal combination.

Get out your miracle beads and display them in the sunshine. Customers will flock to buy them as the sun brings out the best in them when on display.

We now have 3 sizes of rounds, 12mm, 14mm and a huge 30mm. Rice shape and teardrops.
