I'd personally prefer the 200 or so parts from the speeders go towards lengthening the shuttle a bit. Includes 5 new-for-August-2021 LEGO® minifigures of Bad Batch clones Tech, Echo, Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair with assorted weapons and Tech’s buildable backpack, plus a Gonk Droid LEGO figure. Like many, I'm hoping for a republic Crosshair, and I can always dream of a custom helmet for that (it's gotta be my favorite of the Bad Batch helmets).
Through that backdoor pilot, this group of misfit clone troopers got their own Disney+ series, with inevitable LEGO Star Wars tie-ins. However, this droid should feature a lighter chassis colour, potentially approximating dark tan or medium nougat. I might be being a little hard on them, but when an Omega minifig gets made, it cant even fit in the ship. plates with Technic pin holes create hinges to attach angled areas between the crew compartment and wings. In the unfinished version of " A Distant Echo", the vessel had nose art depicting Naboo senator Padmé Amidala in a provocative fashion with the subtitle "Good to be Bad".The elongated cockpit makes excellent use of wedge plates and slopes to create an accurate shape, which tapers towards the nose. As repairs were made on the exterior of the ship, Wrecker took the opportunity to work on the inside, fashioning the Bad Batch's newest companion, Omega, a room of her own by reconfiguring the ship's gunner's nest. I was surprised to find all of the key members of the team to appear in the same set, rather than spread out over several sets. If you are a fan of the Bad Batch – whether from the final season of The Clone Wars, or their own program, you will probably get joy from this set.
The BARC speeder has essentially been recoloured from the 501st squadron set, and as such feels a little uninspired. However, I like the detailed seat, adjustable handlebars and recessed radiator placed towards the rear. We continue by adding a central core to the roof of the shuttle as well as some stickers over the engine outlets, and finally the cockpit itself. Even so, these minifigures include excellent detail and I am delighted that five Bad Batch members are included. However, all of these details are smashed together with a single printed piece, which curves up from the straight, angular nose.The wings are essentially several layers of plates, with the shape produced by a number of wedge plates. Technic elements support both wings and stand out against the predominant black shade, even though these 1x2 plates with Technic pin holes are available in black. Do not attempt to pull down on the models when they are hung or add any extra weight to them, since the mount may break.
