I must admit that i wasnt 100% sure about it in the beginning Stalker posessive guy watches a girl for 10 years while planning to kidnap her and by one way or another make her his, which made me think of a modern day version of beauty and the beast but with the beast being a dominant, violent, emotionally unavailable rival mafia lord who is obessseed with a somewhat spoilt, stroppy, argumentative girl. In no way do I think we should be justifying Elijah as desirable real life romance partner, he is definitely a stalker but he is not an entirely despicable character! And when the villain was revealed,I laughed out loud so much,it literally felt like comedy instead of a thriller.
Only read this far because I was hoping FMC would escape this horrible situation and find a better life while getting revenge on MMC, but that is clearly not where this book was heading. Absolutely a waste of time and makes me sick thinking about how this abuse and r*pe is being glorified.
There is a twist that will have your jaw hanging open, and the end well the ending will leave you wanting more. There were so many times in the book that she could have told her family what was going on and I really don’t think Elijah could do anything about plus her family is supposed to be scary mafia.
Snow is doing what she does best not listen to her brothers and acts out escaping her guards but this time she picked the wrong time to do it.The one thing I really love about this series is how well the author does pick up where the previous books left off. I found the story lacking in suspense and it really pissed me off that Snow and Wynter know their safety is at risk and yet they leave the safety of the house. Life hasn’t always been kind to Montana, but each of the challenges she has faced she has turned into a positive outcome, and has made her want to achieve her dream that much more.
When he worried over her during the bathroom scene with her period and because he had stalked her for years, he knew how bad this time of the month was for her.I hate the way Snow felt about herself at times but then could totally relate to her too but thank goodness she had Elijah to build her up.
Now I can't wait for book 4 Storms book let's see which person can tame this growly cold hearted beast.I've seen others commenting on how he "sexually assaults" her, and I'd like to remind everyone that she's thinking she shouldn't want it, not that she doesn't want it. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. Elijah knew what he wanted he wants a queen to rule beside him not behind him, there relationship is rocky at first since she doesn't trust him and doesn't love the idea of being away from her family plus hes OTT for her lol. Their FUCKING WEDDING,which not only endangered every person they invited but also jeopardizing all of their immediate family members including our fmc pregnant sister. which makes no sense because they were going at it like bunny rabbits well before here comes the bride.
