It is also SPF 10 which I know isn’t super high but definitely better than nothing and an added extra as far as I’m concerned because this product is just so good. It works very similarly to the Johnsons product that I first loved in that it dries like a protective, soothing mask over your lips. The only advantage over that balm is the pleasant vanilla scent (which still starts to smell awful when applied) and it feels nicer on the lips.I like to put it on before bed to wake up with ready to go lips or a couple of hours before applying lipstick. I often have cracked lips in the morning, and apply a lip balm before putting on my makeup, therefore I need a product that will work fast and be non-greasy enough to allow me to apply lipstick before leaving the house.
