About this deal

Notes: The top notes of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Forte are neroli, bergamot, and blood orange. The middle notes are lavender, basil, galbanum, and orange blossom. The base notes are leather, woods, and musk. Where were my beloved bright citric notes (Bright, hello?), where were my orange blossom and neroli? I smelled something cool-tart, dull green-spicy monotony and was disappointed. I felt 25 years older So I put the scent on the side for now. Nope, I can then also punish with contempt. Notes: The top notes of Bond No.9 Eau De New York are grapefruit, mandarin, petitgrain, and bergamot. The middle notes are neroli, gardenia, cyclamen, white lily, basil, verbena, and jasmine. The base notes are vetiver, oakmoss, musk, and white wood. The first impression is very similar to 4711 Original Eau de Cologne, with more emphasis on white florals (neroli and orange blossoms) compared to 4711. The opening is slightly sweeter and has accents of orange peel through and through, but it is also drier and very slightly powdery on my skin. It doesn't come across as feminine though, and while perfectly unisex, this is a great male summer light scent when you need to smell elegantly clean for a few hours. There are citrus scents I've liked considerably less, which is hardly an endorsement. However, an important caveat: in my experience citrus scents perform with greater variability across skin-types than do any other scent group. So this will certainly react differently across individuals.

Neroli is an essential oil, coming from the blossom of a bitter orange tree. It is the little white flower on top of the orange, actually. This is easily mixed up with orange blossom, which is another essential oil extracted from the orange tree. The difference between the two is in the scent.

What Are Fragrance Clones

There are a number of Tom Ford perfume clones on the market. What are some of the best ones that mimic this designer fragrance? The flower smell isn't balanced by a masculine note to my nose. Even though amber is listed as a note of this fragrance. The flower overpowers it. A quite sophisticated and yet light and freshly aroma. If you live in a very warm area and don't like heavy perfume during the daytime this is the one for you. At first I though it was going to be too floral or feminine but "not at all" pleasant citrus, light pine and woody develops after a short time. Projection and sillage are not bad for a main stream commercial EDT. Some people find it similar to T.F. Neroli Portofino but in my opinion they are 2 similar members of the same family but still different. When I first smelled Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino it was love at first sniff. It smells very natural and very floral. However, it was still missing something. You see, natural citrus flowers have a tiny bit of spicy elements to them. They're gorgeously soft and airy, but also have a bit of a bite. Snap a citrus leaf, or even a flower petal and you'll smell the spicyness. While I love TF's NP, it was missing that element for me. And of course, it's outrageously expensive. Anyway...this one is good. A great summer fragrance that is a nice change of pace as it isn't boring like a lot of citrus fragrances, nor is it an aquatic.

Bright Neroli by Ferrari has garnered recent attention particularly due to its resemblance to a fragrance named Neroli Portofino. It is a good citrus fragrance on its own merits. Citron and a lemon accord with neroli dominate the top notes before drying to a woody-aromatic base, resulting in a citrus-fresh fragrance. Initial blast was sunscreen-like but then the citron and bitter orange came out moments later. On my skin, the citron is dominant over the other citruses. Neroli and orange blossom are right behind with my skin highlighting the OB sweetness. The other notes support as a generally light, herbal nuance. As others have mentioned, this is perfect for hot weather and a steal at the price. I don't mind "old school" I like Aramis and Chanel PM, Eau Savage etc. but this was far too harsh and sour. I'll tell you the truth, I wouldn't have thought it possible for you to water me I'm nu keen Fänn of such car racing. Maybe I would have been interested in the ollen coaches uffn Avus early in the morning, if I would have vastehn, Mr. Jeheimrat.Over time, the fragrance loses its potency, but remains on the skin. The durability is great, but the projection could have lasted longer. Here, the aim is not to splurge, but to scream elegance. And also we must remember that this is a unisex fragrance and it was necessary to find a middle ground to please men and women at the same time. However, in my personal opinion, while Noble Fig tends to please men’s noses with ease, Bright Neroli has the ideal delicacy to conquer women. But the first encounter was rather sobering. Herbaceous green with a lot of oldschool feeling. Oh dear, not really what I had expected. Neroli Portofino Forte is masculine, a bit woody, classy, quality, and lasts all day. Easily the best of them all.

Yes, the vajleich could be pulled. Indeed, there are one, two perföngks that almost smell as good as Jebräu here. Neroli has become a very popular note to use in fragrances, and many fragrances actually start building around this note. This makes for some fantastic fragrances with a sweet, green, fresh scent. Bright Neroli opens with a strong citrus smell mostly citron and some bitter orange which honestly isn't a note I really enjoy but I like it here. Instead I smell a very strong smell that reminds me of Williams shave soap. The neroli is the strongest note and honestly I think gives it to some of the shave soap parallels. The neroli note is the strongest and really makes the base seem missing though I notice a slight vetiver.

3. Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Forte

This ferrari release for what it is and how much it costs is worth the hype it gets. It has been 2 weeks since I have it, I can not seem to get enough of it. Usually at such constant use of single perfume, after such period of time it becomes less noticeable to my own nose, but this is not the case with this one. Other notes that are missing are amber, patchouli and vetiver. Yes! You've read that right. Those are all the base notes. Include the missing neroli, and that adds-up to four of the ten ingredients absent. Taking a break from it, the intense dry citrus of neroli still passes me by. After the three enthusiastic summer 2018 comments from Scarletrose, Schoork and, as always, Fittleworth, I take the liberty with all due respect to pour a little water into the dessert wine. Because that would be this smell from my point of view, if you could drink it, a (orange) port wine or a Sherry Oloroso. hour: longer lasting than expected - most neroli fragrances do not last on me, but the middle notes are still there, true and floral but melting into the warm leathery quality of patchouli and amber, with the vetiver maintaining the green happiness. Typically I dislike patchouli and vetiver, but here, I am ridiculously happy.
