I moved, but I was too slow. She lunged for me, and before I could get out of the way, her hands wrapped around mine. For some reason I thought with Supernatural Academy, may be Jaymin would recreate the magic of Supernatural Prisons. And she didnt. There is so much I want to tell you about this book but my brain is like being bossy and saying I can't give spoilers away... Supernatural Academy comes from 41 Entertainment, which is known for the Super Monsters titles on Netflix. The animation itself comes from Icon Creative Studio, which also did the animation for Disney Junior’s Elena of Avalor and Disney Plus’ Monsters at Work. What’s the pilot about? If one person is able to make you feel all the feels...I betcha it's this chic...this book will have you playing a serious game of whiplash and one moment you'll be laughing and then the next you'll have tears in your eyes and then everything in between and beyond. All I know is that if this book doesn't make you feel things, I don't know what will. And I may then be inclined to believe Jaymin Eve is the Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling author of paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and sci-fi novels filled with epic love stories, great adventures, and plenty of laughs. She lives in Australia with her husband, two beautiful daughters, and a couple of crazy pets. To date, she has sold over three million ebooks, and still can't believe that she gets to create fantasy worlds as a job. The setting of the school was magical and amazing. I loved that supernaturals went to school for the magical education later in life. I loved Maddison's excitement about the supernatural world and getting to learn alongside her. The addition of the Atlanteans was awesome. I loved the extra mythology this brought in.

Maddie had been a loner all her life and suddenly in a day she gets two BFFs who are sooooooo close to her and so suddenly that it defies all logic of friendship.

Many characters were irrelevant (and probably used just to fill a gap and show Asher like the asshole he is, yup), the romance between Maddi and Asher a little bit rushed, same between Ilia and Calen... The time in which everything happens is weird. One day can last like 3 or 4 chapters, and a month can happen in one paragraph, which left me kinda confused and annoyed.
