About this deal

Fans may choose to read Third Chances from the Men of Manhattan series prior to reading this book. Glimpses of James during his bachelor party weekend in Costa Rica are seen through Rob and Daphne’s POVs. Maybe because they are making me nervous, I'm always on the edge of what will happen when somebody will catch them!!!

Penny and her professor are doing a bit of dating in this installment of the series, which allows for glimpses into the mysterious Professor Hunter, but it also increases the tension a bit... Because their relationship must stay a secret. The Hunted series might be a case of 'The Right Book at the Right Time'. I enjoyed the story despite the fact that it's outside of my usual tastes.A college sophomore and her professor conduct a steamy, forbidden affair in this contemporary romance novel. Taboo scandal aside, there were so many red flags in their month long relationship. I hate it when an author forces an engagement/marriage just to speed up a plot line. It's okay to date, it's more believable. And you have like 5 more books coming along anyway. Despite the fact it is a romantic erotica, which means book must be aimed at adult audience it feels like it’s written for a young teenagers. Nothing makes sense here. Dialogues and motives are both poor, stereotypical, there is no thrill, nothing new here, vocabulary is poor, constantly repeating itself. There are moments it’s so cheesy it literally makes you want to throw out. The heroin is so flat, she has literally nothing interesting about herself. Even if she would be the most beautiful woman in the world I do not understand how any man could fall for her. She is flat, stereotypical, boring and predictable. On a top of that so immature my 12 old cousins seems to be more suitable to take her place. There are moments she just doesn’t seem “real” at all. Like a really bad actress who cannot pull her performance and make audience root for her. On a top of that I can see that that it is in a way a poor copy of one bestselling book which title starts with “50”. Non volevo risultare noiosa. Volevo che il professor Hunter mi notasse. Fino a quel momento le mie risposte sembravano averlo invogliato a parlare con me. E le nostre conversazioni imbarazzate mi avevano fatto sentire viva». I love a forbidden romance, and this book had that. My issue was the fact she kept calling him Professor Hunter most of the time when they were alone. If you’re getting that close to someone, I think you’d be on first name basis. Hopefully these eases in the next book.

I believe anything is possible if you’re tenacious and not willing to let go of your dreams. I still pinch myself knowing how far I’ve come after all the nos I received early on. I found a love for reading in elementary school. I was in the lowest reading class and I was determined to work my way up to the highest. So one summer, I read and read and read some more. And I never stopped. I fell in love with stories. But even though I did work my way up into the highest reading class, I never would have dreamed to be on the other side of the stories I loved so much. and a fairly sizable age gap... Speaking of which, Penny has allowed her professor to assume she's a senior, and two years older than she actually is... Nine words to describe James Hunter: Poised, enigmatic, jaded, blunt, charismatic, dominant, elusive, possessive and non-committal.

Need Help?

James Hunter gave up his billionaire lifestyle in NYC last year to become a professor. The easiest new rule to follow: don’t fraternize with the students. It’s easy to follow because he’s become quite the recluse in his new town – the only way he knows how to keep his secrets buried. Could the past few years really mean so little to James? I'd do anything to protect him. He's my whole future. My whole life. I don't know if there's a me without him.

Here we were having the honeymoon phase until some hidden secrets were starting to be revealed and turned everything upside down. Compelling — that’s maybe the best word I can use to describe this book! Because, I just couldn’t put it down - I couldn’t stop reading it - plus, I didn’t want to!!Penny feels like she has lost herself in James’s world. His home, his friends, his money that pays her tuition – and now his company that she works for. She loves James dearly and his friends have become a family of sorts. That Mrs. And Mrs. Hunter have refused to meet her to this day has been a hardship on both James and Penny. His parents still like Isabella in spite of the divorce, and their attendance at the upcoming nuptials is in question. Everyone loves Professor Hunter. He’s tall, dark, and handsome. And completely unobtainable. But it’s the secrets hiding behind his deep brown eyes that allures Penny. Secrets darker than she could ever imagine. Here again, we have the same drama and bullshit that is just carried over from the last installment, Eruption. This time the conflict isn't necessarily between Penny and James, which is a nice change of pace. They're involved, naturally, but it's not really between them the way it usually is. James' ex wife is still up to her jealous ways and trying to ruin everything. Of course, it helps that Professor Hunter is a total heartthrob. Wealthy, mysterious, gorgeous, and utterly unobtainable. I can understand how a girl might lose her senses in the face of all that perfection.
