We are not learning lessons in a school - we are divine energy beings gaining experience in a PLAY-ground of physical limitation. For the eternal, unlimited soul that cannot be hurt it is ALL fun and immensely rewarding... and there are no grudges, hurts, or resentments held against anyone or anything. Zero - not one. All is forgiven because really, there is nothing to forgive. Earth may be the greatest PLAY-ground in the multiverse. In 1970 her husband was discharged as a disabled veteran, and they retired to the hills of Arkansas. She then started her writing career and began selling her articles to various magazines and newspapers. When her children began lives of their own, her interest in regressive hypnosis and reincarnation was reawakened. She studied the various hypnosis methods and thus developed her own unique technique which enabled her to gain the most efficient release of information from her subjects. Since 1979 she has regressed and cataloged information gained from hundreds of volunteers. She calls herself a regressionist and a psychic researcher who records "lost" knowledge. She has also worked with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) for a number of years. The book is so voluminous, I haven't been able to digest all the information it contains, not by any means, so have difficulty in presenting a resumé. I can say that much of the information presented was difficult to fully comprehend, it pertaining to matters previously unknown to us and somewhat beyond our understanding. Cannon herself does a great job of understanding what her regressed subjects say to her and asking the right questions, though I still abhor her in places sloppy writing. Also, the subconscious which Dolores so often communicates with during her regressions, and that always possesses the totality of the available knowledge, always refers to itself in the plural form. PEOPLE DON’T REALIZE the power their own mind has to cure themselves. My technique allows access to that part of their mind that can find the cause of their problems. The subconscious can be very literal in the physical symptoms it uses to deliver its messages. If more people became aware of this they would listen more closely to what their body is trying to tell them.

It seems like the people that believe in this type of stuff don’t believe in the scientific method but that doesn’t stop them from spewing “facts”. But if a fact can’t be observed, measured, or tested in any kind of way, how can you criticize me for not belieiving? Another great book by Dolores Cannon a hypnotherapist who regresses her clients to prior lives. Sometimes these prior lives are on planets other than Earth. In this book, Dolores introduces us to the multiverse, a concept which modern physics calls the "multiple worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics". Basically, every time a choice is made a universe is born for each alternative. You are aware of the universe in which your choice was made one way while a duplicate you lives a life in a universe where the alternative choice was made. It must be remembered that these explanations can not apply to all cases verbatim, as the only cause for the malady or discomfort. There can be no blanket statement that: overweight is always caused by this, or migraines are always caused by that. The explanations are as varied as the person, and the subconscious can be very clever. The hypnotist must be flexible and use their own instincts to ask the proper questions. The answer and solution that applies to one person may not be the answer for the next.This lengthy book was filled so many unusual characters, it deserved a greater range of voices to play the parts. In addition, the audio quality was noticeably choppy. I could hear where dialogue had been cut in and the sound was different. This was a detraction from the story. This is a book for the ambitious, open-minded soul who dares to venture into unexplored territory. It is ground-breaking, as was Delores Cannon. What I’d love to see is movie or documentary about her work and her life. Cannon was absolutely an incredible pioneer in her time! Well written and quite descriptive as are other books I've read by Dolores Cannon, but I'm going to say it was amazing due to the content. I know it's quite advanced metaphysical material and although to some people it's pretty "way out there". I surely feel like I'm walking around with a brain expanded 3 sizes with all the information plus the "Secret of the Universe!" I have to say that reading Dolores Cannons works have drastically changed my life for the better, and this book is no exception! TLDR: This isn’t some revelatory “unveiling of the truth”, it’s verbal diarrhea spewed from someone’s subconscious while in a highly suggestive state. This would be less enraging if the book hadn’t been published as non-fiction, or had more of the approach of “interesting ideas from someone’s dream state”, but to pass this off as fact relies heavily on the reader applying zero critical thought, and to me that comes across as predatory.

Vows in other lives are very powerful. Especially vows of poverty often carry over and cause money problems in the present life. These must be recognized as necessary in the former life, but now they can be renounced as inappropriate. Dolores became, perhaps, the world's most unlikely expert on the prophecies of Nostradamus. A retired Navy wife from Huntsville, AR, USA, Dolores was nearly fifty years old when she began experimenting with hypnosis and past-life regression. The results were, to say the least, quite spectacular! Dolores has written the three volume set "Conversations With Nostradamus", the series on the translation of Nostradamus' quatrains. This series contains the translation of almost 1000 prophecies, all interpreted for the first time and have been in print since 1989. It is considered the most accurate interpretation of the prophecies ever printed. however I found that repeatedly Delores was told to focus on the positive, the high vibrational, the creation of heaven on Earth but still she continues to focus on those that 'will be left behind' (her words) and what will happen to them. I find it confusing as to why this is so. I was not comfortable with the focus on the negative . Also the constant reference to negative karma was also disconcerting. The way through this shift and by the way to transmute this so called karma is to focus on the positive and raise your vibration and celebrate the shift. This regression took place in San Jose, California, in May 2000. A woman had extreme sadness all her life, depression, etc. She had a repeatable pattern in her life of abandonment, rejection, the feeling of being unworthy, the thro

When I arrived at the Intensive Care Unit five different doctors came in one by one and gave me several reasons why he could not possibly survive the night. They were perplexed that I was not upset. I told them they were wrong. He would not die. But of course, I could not tell them how I knew this. How could he die if he had been seen in the future with grandchildren? I knew it was true. I believed in what we had done and what we had discovered. If I was going to believe it, I had to believe it all. This belief helped to preserve my sanity during a horrible time. Dolores surmises that the reason why the people on each Earth will be unaware of each other is that it will be similar to the concept of the creation of parallel universes and dimensions. "Each time we make a decision, another universe or dimension is instantly created so the other choice also becomes a reality and another `you' splits off to play that part." "If we are not aware of these other parts of ourselves acting out the other decisions ... then the people on the two Earths would be unaware of each other."

After months in Intensive Care and spending a year in the hospital (eight months of which was in a body cast) he was discharged from the Navy as a disabled veteran. This was when we decided to move to the hills of Arkansas where we thought we could live on a pension and support our four children. At that time it was a necessity, but later I was glad to have this sanctuary in the hills as my retreat. Johnny spent twenty-five years confined to a wheelchair. As a partial amputee he could walk outside with crutches, and drove a hand-controlled car. During that time I was completely focused on my husband and the children. The conclusions the author makes are absolutely logic - defying, and I don't understand the popularity of her books. It's as if she has taken every fringe theory out there (crop circles, aliens, loch ness, ad nauseum) and woven together a fanciful, evergrowing quilt of imagination. I now know I have been limiting it, and simplifying it. It is actually like communicating with a computer terminal connected to a giant database. The database transcends time, space, and all limitations of individual consciousness. This is the amazing part of my work. I seem to always be speaking to the same part (or entity or whatever it is), a part that I have now discovered appears to be all-knowing. It not only has the answers the client is seeking, it has answers about anything that I wish to ask. An all-knowing part of something that has access to all information. Some people may choose to call this part the Total Self, Higher Self, the Oversoul, Jung’s Collective Unconscious, or God. These could all be relating to the same thing under different names. I just know that I have found in my work that it responds to the name of subconscious. Chapters that were ‘my jam’ include, “If You Think, You Create,” that reminded me of The Secret, “The Dreamer Dreams the Dream,” many ideas in that one echoed ACIM’s premise of this world being an illusion. I also enjoyed “The Multi-Faceted Soul,” and “The New Earth.” In all its strangeness, there are familiar foundational concepts being provoked in The Convoluted Universe. It is a very juicy listen from the standpoint of content. Where it wasn’t so juicy for me was in the performance of the narrators.In this volume are covered topics such as the real story behind the Sphinx in Egypt, karma and advanced beings, interplanetary life, energy and creator beings, the “Grand Cosmic Dream,” and mind-bending subjects. Working through several different subjects, Dolores was able to establish communication with the living Michel De Notredame, better known as the prophet Nostradamus. His revelations and their impact on our own time are both fascinating and at times frightening. Her psychologist had told her he didn’t object to her having past-life therapy, but he didn’t believe in it. Yet she would never in a million years have been able to find the cause of these problems through traditional orthodox therapy. I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall to see what he said when she told him she no longer needed further treatment. She has found the answers in this form of therapy. One preliminary item of information I would like to convey is something Dolores cites from a book by O. T. Bonnett she has published: when we wish to be healed we should talk to the cells in our body to get their cooperation and when speaking to them we should always refer to ourselves as "we" - in this way we seem to them to be the voice of God, and we better get their attention. The subconscious not only records everything that has ever happened to the person in this lifetime, but everything that has ever happened to them in all their past-lives, and existences in the spirit state. Much of this has no application to the present life. It can be tapped into for curiosity’s sake, and it would be interesting to the person. But what purpose would it serve in answering the problems of the present lifetime?

You can’t have an experience and then state that its a truth. The only truth is that you had that experience. To go beyond that conclusion and make statements about the nature of reality is faulty at best. I can have a dream – it could simply be my mind creating images and sounds or it could be a trip into a past life. To say conclusively either one is true is faulty. How ironic for Johnny to survive the war only to die from the negligence of a drunken driver. But this was not to be. The doctors called him the miracle man, because against all odds and defying all logic, he survived. This was the beginning of the nightmare that was to last for many years. Its completely unfair to claim that this stuff is “truth” when someone’s well-being is on the line. I was a very depressed teenager and the last thing, the very last thing I needed was some one spewing crazy bullshit at me and telling me I am depressed because I’m “of the highest spiritual beings” and tell me about my past lives. I needed rational thought and true caring. Not lies.The people I have had the most difficulty putting into trance are usually high-powered businessmen, those who are judgmental and analytical. Instead of relaxing and going with the suggestions, they want to try to maintain control over the session. There are others who say they are ready to find the answers, but secretly they are afraid of what will come out, so their conscious mind sabotages the session. But as I said, these are only about 10% or less of the clients that I see. The rest (90%) always find a past life. So I believe this is very persuasive evidence in favor of reincarnation. I know these statements sound radical and do not fit with traditional methods of treatments, but I can only report what I have discovered and observed from helping thousands of people. Dolores has written 17 books about her research in hypnosis and UFO cases. Her books are translated into over 20 languages. She founded her own publishing company, Ozark Mountain Publishing, in 1992. We're told that Earth is a planet of drama. There are other places that are more "light comedy". No two worlds are the same - they contain different energies and different atmospheres. There are even worlds where there's no free will.
